MAZATLÁN._ Luego de varias horas de debatirse entre la vida y la muerte, finalmente Ramón Castro Maldonado, coordinador de la Policía Estatal Preventiva falleció víctima de 4 impactos de bala. El caso se turnó a Homicidios Dolosos.
Esta mañana, un comando armado atacó a balazos al coordinador de la Policía Estatal Preventiva en el sur de la entidad, Ramón Castro Maldonado, quien recibió dos impactos de bala, al parecer en el abdomen. En el momento del ataque, estaba acompañado por Antonio Ibarra Castañeda, comandante de la PME en el sur y quien resultó ileso.
Por lo menos 15 casquillos fueron levantados del lugar del atentado
Los hechos se registraron a 30 metros de la Base local de la Policía Ministerial del Estado, por la Avenida Cruz Lizárraga casi esquina con Calle Chachalacas.
El coordinador fue llevado a un hospital de la ciudad en donde recibe atención médica, pero finalmente falleció.
El vehículo utilizado por los sicarios, fue abandonado por la Calle Río Piaxtla, casi esquina con Avenida Ejército Mexicano, afuera de la tienda Ley. En el asiento trasero fue hallado un "cuerno de chivo".
En uno de los tambos de basura de la Ley vieja, a la altura de la tienda Arauz, dejaron una pechera de las llamadas "tácticas", con por lo menos 2 cargadores para cuerno abastecidos.
En otro depósito, junto a la parada de camiones ubicada sobre avenida Ejército Mexicano, fue hallado otro chaleco "táctico", con insignias de la PGR al frente y en la espalda la leyenda SIEDO.
